RRC NR Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Vacancies, Eligibility, Qualification, Age Limit
RRC, Northern Railway will fill 4116 apprentice posts across several clusters for various trades like Fitter, Electrician, Carpenter, Welder, Machinist, Painter, Trimmer, Turner, Electronics Mechanic, Stenographer, Data Entry Operator, and more.
- Age Limit: 15 to 24 years as on 24 December 2025. Upper age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD, and additional relaxation for Ex-servicemen as per rules.
- Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed 10th/Matriculation (under 10+2 system) with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board and must possess an ITI certificate in relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
- Reservation: Seats are reserved for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD and Ex-servicemen as per government rules. Candidates must produce valid certificates at the time of document verification.
Note: Applicants must ensure that their ITI trade matches with the training slot available. Candidates awaiting 10th or ITI results are not eligible.

- Selection is purely on merit, based on the average marks obtained in both 10th class and ITI (equal weightage).
- No written test or interview.
- Older candidates will be preferred in case of a tie in marks; in case of same date of birth, candidate who passed 10th earlier will be considered.
- Merit list will be published unit/trade/community wise as per slot availability.
- Document verification will be conducted, and medical fitness certificate must be produced.
- Final selection will be subject to certificate verification and medical standards.
