Assam Rifles Sports Quota Recruitment 2025 : Assam Rifles has released the official notification for the Meritorious Sportspersons Recruitment Rally 2025. Eligible male and female Indian citizens can apply online for 69 vacancies of Rifleman/Riflewoman (General Duty) under the Sports Quota. The recruitment will be conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
The online application process starts on 16 August 2025 and the last date to apply is 15 September 2025. The recruitment rally will be conducted between October to December 2025 at designated locations, with exact reporting dates mentioned in the call letters.
Total Vacancies: 69 (Male – 30, Female – 39) across various sports disciplines like Boxing, Football, Shooting, Taekwondo, Karate, Volleyball, Fencing, Badminton, Pencak Silat, Athletics.
Age Limit:
General & OBC: 18 – 23 years (Relaxation up to 5 years).
SC/ST: 18 – 28 years (Relaxation up to 10 years).
Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized board.
Sports Qualification: Players who have participated in International/ National competitions, Inter-University tournaments, Khelo India Games, National School Games, etc.

Physical Standard Test (PST).
Motor Ability Test (MAT).
